Between the 50 governments and the 650+ individuals who applied for a spot in the 2014 Fellowship program, Ai??Code for America’s selection committee had their work cut out for them ai??i?? and with so many qualified applicants and innovative governments, the decisions were incredibly difficult. 2014 Government Partners
From the City of Long Beach to the State of Rhode Island, this year’s partners are poised for a promising year. The group was chosen from more than 50 qualified applicants and for their dedication to innovation and forward-thinking staff. Ai??For the first time in the organization’s history, this year’s fellowship partners will feature a State (Rhode Island)Ai??and work with an unincorporated U.S. territory (San Juan, Puerto Rico). From Washington to Wisconsin and California to Kentucky, this year’s fellows will travel from across the country to take part in the 11-month pursuit for public good. The 2014 Fellowship class includes developers, designers, and researchers with a passion for civic tech and an interest in improving communities.
